WHEN YOU SHOULD SEEK HELP

By Twelve Months:

If your baby doesn’t do the following:
• Babble With Changes in Tone
• Use Gestures Like Waving
• Respond to His or Her Name

By Fifteen Months:

If your baby doesn’t do the following:
• Doesn’t undetstand and respond to words like “no” and “up”
• Say Words

By Eighteen Months:

If your baby doesn’t do the following:
• Understand and respond to simple comands like “Don’t Touch”
• Use at least 20 single words like “Mommy” or “up”
• Respond with a word or gesture to a wuestion such as “Whats’s That?” or “Where’s your shoe?”
• Can’t point to two or three major body parts such as head, nose, eyes, and feet

By Twenty Four Months:

If your baby doesn’t do the following:
• Says Fewer Than 100 Words
• Imitate Actions or Words
• Pretent With Toys

By Thirty Months:

If your baby doesn’t do the following:
• Say Fewer Than 300 Words
• Use Action words like “run”, “eat”.”fall”
• Isn’t Using Some Adult Grammar, Such As “Two Babies” and “Doggie Sleeping”

By 3-4 Years:

If your baby doesn’t do the following:
• Answer Questions
• Using Sentences
• Able To Tell A Simple Story
